William Horr Whitney (Nathaniel), son of Nathaniel and Clarissa (Horr) Whitney, was born 4 Feb 1838, NY, and died 15 Mar 1909, Gouverneur, NY.[1]

He married circa 1861, Gouverneur, NY, Rosetta Adell Cushman, daughter of Myron and Susan (Waid) Cushman. She was born May 1841, Gouverneur, NY, and died 1920, Gouverneur, NY.[2]

ii. Wilbur Burton Whitney, b. 1869, Gouverneur, NY; d. 1915, Gouverneur, NY;[4] m. 10 Feb 1914, St. Lawrence Co., NY, Marion Fuller Holmes, daughter of Adam J. and Edith T. (Fuller) Holmes, b. ca. 1885, NY, d. aft. 1920; no known children. In 1910 he was living in Williamsport, PA.
