Family:Whitney, William Lyman (1833-a1880)

William Lyman⁸ Whitney (Freeman⁷, Enoch⁶, Moses⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Freeman⁷ and Mary S. (Gray) Whitney, was born 12 Jun 1833, Harrison, ME, and died 14 Jul 1894, aged 61 years 1 month 2 days, of fatty degeneration of heart.^[1]

He married, 3 Jul 1855, Harrison, ME (also recorded at Cambridge, MA), Hannah Maria Simpson of Cambridgeport, MA, daughter of Paul R. and Hannah (Thomas) Simpson.^[2] She was born 14 Aug 1832, Andover, ME, and died 8 Jul 1903, Newton, MA, aged 71 years 10 months 24 days, of a cyst on the kidney.^[3] She was buried in Harrison, ME.

He resided 127 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA.
