Wolcott⁷ Whitney (Joseph⁶, Elijah⁵, John⁴, William³, Joshua², John¹), son of Joseph⁶ and Mary P. (Persons) Whitney, was born 20 Dec 1804, CT, and died 24 Jul 1834, Chicago, IL, of cholera.

He married 28 Sep 1828, Almeda Snow. She was born 21 Oct 1807, and died Oct 1854, Peninsula, OH. She married secondly, 27 Oct 1841, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Peleg Thompson, of Summit Co., OH.

He resided Mexico, NY.
