My Name is David L. Norcutt Sr (42)and I have been interested in my Ancestry since I was 12 when I spent a summer with my Grandfather researching my last name. He lived in Fairhaven Massachusetts and we were able to visit several towns through out Southern Mass. My Grandmother, Hazel Whitney, passed to me information concerning her Whitney lineage including being related to an "Eli Whitney". Later in life, after her death, 9/11/1997, I began reserching my WHITNEY line and found most of my information from "The Descendants of John Whitney, Who Came from London, England, to Watertown, Massachusetts, in 1635." by Frederick Clifton Pierce (Chicago: 1895)Transcribed by the Whitney Research Group, 1999. Which I guess is this organization.
