He was born 29 Apr 1750, Pepperell, MA (also recorded 15 Apr 1751, Groton, MA), and died 30 Apr 1838, Pepperell, MA, aged 88 years, of strangling.  He had married firstly, 7 Feb 1779, Townsend, MA, [[Family:Shattuck, Abigail (1744-1810)|Abigail Shattuck]].
