William Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1780, probably Bermuda, died after 1809. He was probably the William Whitney who died 9 Jan 1855, Grand Cay, Turks Islands, "in his 76th year".[1]

He married, 3 Oct 1801, Pembroke Parish, Bermuda, Mary Robinson.[2]

Children of William and Mary (Robinson) Whitney:

i. Catharine Ball Whitney, bp. 21 Jun 1802, Pembroke Parish, Bermuda.[3]
ii. Betsy Seymour Whitney, bp. 17 Nov 1805, Pembroke Parish, Bermuda.[4]
iii. Emmeline Frances Whitney, bp. 10 Dec 1809, Pembroke Parish, Bermuda.[5]
