John Chamberlain (Abigail Woods, Hannah³ Whitney, Joshua², John¹), son of "Paugus" John and Abigail (Woods) Chamberlain was born 24 Mar 1720 at Groton, MA^[1] and died 17 Mar 1802 at age 81^[2].

John married Rachel Lawrence, daughter of Zechariah and Abigail (Parker) Lawrence, 3 Dec 1746 at Groton, MA.

He was also known as John Chamberlin Jr.

Rachel Lawrence was born in 1727 at Groton, MA. She died on 6 Oct 1756 at Groton, MA.

Children of John and Rachel (Lawrence) Chamberlain all b. at Groton, MA:

i.	Rachel Chamberlain, b. 10 Jul 1747; baptized 30 Aug 1747 at Pepperell, MA; d. 13 Oct 1756 at Pepperell, MA, at age 9.
ii.	Abigail Chamberlain, b. 8 Sep 1749; baptized 17 Sep 1749 at Pepperell, MA; m. Edmund Shattuck, son of Benjamin Shattuck and Dinah Hunt, 7 Jun 1770 at Pepperell, MA; d. 17 Mar 1786 at Groton, MA, at age 36.
iii.	John Chamberlain, b. 27 Feb 1751/52; baptized 8 Mar 1752 at Pepperell, MA; d. 30 Dec 1773 at Pepperell, MA, at age 21.
iv.	Ede Chamberlain, b. 9 Oct 1754; baptized 17 Nov 1754 at Pepperell, MA. She was also known as Eda Chamberlin.
