David Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps related to Thomas Whitney (b1725-a1776), born sometime before 1774,[1] died after 1820.[2]

He married 21 Jan 1799, Somerset Co., MD, Rachel Evans.[3]

1. ^  He must have been either the male over 45 or the male 26-45 on the 1800 census, so that places his birth at sometime before 1774.

2. ^  He was enumerated on the 1820 census, so he must have died sometime after that.
