He married firstly, 30 Oct 1721, Groton, MA, Esther Shedd, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Bowers) Shed. She was born 24 Mar 1702/3, Groton, MA, and died 28 Jun 1768, Lunenburg, MA.

He married secondly, 12 Jan 1773, Lunenburg, MA, Huldah (Martin) Wetherbee, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Gove) Martin. She was born 27 Apr 1711, Marlborough, MA, and died after 1790, Rindge, NH. She had married firstly, 23 Apr 1728, Marlborough, MA, Hezekiah Wetherbee.
