Adams⁸ Whitney (William⁷, Peter⁶, Aaron⁵, Moses⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of William⁷ and Zilpah (Eager) Whitney, was born 4 Jan 1826, Northborough, MA.^[1]

He married, 19 May 1861, Quincy, MA, Susanna Channel Burrell, daughter of Seth and Susanna (-----) Burrell.^[2] She was born 30 Dec 1825.

They resided 11 Gay St., Quincy, MA.

i.	Maria Adams9 Whitney, b. 22 Mar 1862; resided unmarried at home.
ii.	Abby Warren Whitney, b. 2 Apr 1864; d. 2 Apr 1864.
