Family:Whitney, Laban (1815-1895)

Laban⁷ Whitney (Laban⁶, Elias⁵, Elias⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Laban⁶ and Olive (Green) Whitney, was born 6 Jan 1815, Bellingham, MA,^[1] and died after 1880.

He married firstly, 10 Apr 1841, Mary Sickles. She was born 20 Dec 1821, and died 13 Dec 1877.

He married secondly, 31 Oct 1880, St. Lukes Millville, Valatie, NY, Elizabeth P. Wetherwax.^[2]

He is a bootmaker; resided Stockport, NY, Bellingham, Milford, and Blackstone, MA.

He was a soldier in the Indian Wars, Birdsville Co. 8, U.S. Infantry, for which he applied for a pension on 16 Feb 1893, from New York. The application number was 4123, and the certificate number was 3145.^[3]
