Zimri7 Whitney (Reuben6, Richard5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Reuben6 and Lucy (Fairbank) Whitney, was born 29 May 1795, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 19 Sep 1870, Harvard, MA, aged 75 years 3 months 26 days, of paralysis.[2]

He married firstly, before 1835, probably Boston, MA, Martha A. -----. She is known only from the death record of her son George.

Intentions of marriage were published 15 Mar 1840, Harvard, MA, for him and Adaline Conant "of Littleton".[3] He "of Harvard" married secondly, 14 May 1840, Littleton, MA, "Mrs." Adaline (Patch) Conant "of Littleton",[4] daughter of John and Abigail (Trowbridge) Patch. She was born about 21 Dec 1815, Littleton, MA, and died 11 Jan 1893, Harvard, MA, aged 77 years 20 days, of pneumonia.[5] She had married firstly, 3 Jul 1834, Littleton, MA, Simon T. Conant, who died 24 Sep 1835, Acton, MA, aged 27 years.

i. George B.8 Whitney, b. ca. 1835, Boston, MA; d. 22 Jul 1851, Harvard, MA, aged 16 years, farmer, of consumption.[6]

Children of Zimri7 and Adeline (Patch)(Conant) Whitney:

i. Adaline P.8 Whitney, b. ca. 31 Mar 1841, MA; d. 13 Aug 1859, Harvard, MA, aged 17 years 4 months 13 days, of scrofula.[7]
ii. Reuben F. Whitney, b. 7 Sep 1843, Harvard, MA;[8] d. 11 Dec 1845, Harvard, MA, aged 2 years 3 months.[9]
