He married, sometime perhaps before 1822, Esther -----. She was born about 1796, VT, died 20 Aug 1850, Burns, NY, aged 53 years 8 months 23 days. She was buried in the Canaseraga Cemetery, Burns, NY.
He moved with his parents and siblings from the family home in Vermont to Allegany County, NY, in 1817.
