Samuel Austin7 Whitney (Hananiah6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Hananiah6 and Azubah (Keyes) Whitney, was born 10 Nov 1809, Winchendon, MA,[1] and died Jun 1886, Fitzwilliam, NH [Pierce] or 28 May 1884, Dana, MA, aged 75 years, of inflammation of the bladder.[2]
Marriage intentions were published 28 Jan 1832, Millbury, MA, for him "of Winchendon" and Betsey Croxford.[3] Marriage intentions were published 28 Jan 1832, Winchendon, MA, for him and Betsey Croxford "of Millbury".[4] Apparently this marriage never took place.
Marriage intentions were published 17 Nov 1832, Winchendon, MA, for him and Sarah S. Foster "of Fitzwilliam, N.H."[5] He married, 9 Dec 1832, Fitzwilliam, NH, Sarah S. Foster.[6] She was born 11 Feb 1811, NH, and died Jan 1879 [Pierce] or 11 Jan 1880, Orange, MA, aged 69 years of pneumonia, or aged 69 years 10 months 11 days, of congestion of lungs.[7]
He married secondly, 31 May 1881, Orange, MA, or 5 Jun 1881, Dana, MA, Hannah S. (Blackmer) Johnson, daughter of Willard and Hannah (Tolman) Blackmer.[8] She was born about 1826, Dana, MA, and died 22 Mar 1892, Winchendon, MA, aged 66 years, of faulty heart. She was buried in North Dana, MA. She had `married firstly, 18 Nov 1846, Vernon, VT, Henry W. Johnson, who died 9 Apr 1880, North Dana, MA, 1846, aged 65 years.
He resided Fitzwilliam, NH.
