Samuel married, before 10 Dec 1742, Grace -----.[4] She was born say 1717, and died 6 Jun 1763.[5] Marriage intentions were published 15 Nov 1755, Lancaster, MA, for her "of Harvard" and Josiah Houghton "of Lancaster".[6] Marriage intentions were published 22 Nov 1755, Harvard, MA, for her and Josiah Houghton "of Lancaster".[7] She married secondly, 6 Jan 1756, Lancaster, MA, Josiah Houghton.[8] No marriage record is found in Stow, but her husband was born there and child Samuel was born there.
