Alfred Whitney (David, John) son of David and Ruth (Carrol) Whitney, was born about 9 Jan 1816, MA, or Fitzwilliam, NH, and died 6 May 1903, aged 87 years 3 months 27 days, probably Fitzwilliam, NH.[1]
He married firstly, 7 Oct 1849, Nancy J. Simonds, daughter of Daniel and Nancy (Stone) Simonds. She was born 9 Feb 1826, Fitzwilliam, NH, and died 6 Jan 1864, Fitzwilliam, NH, aged 38 years.[2]
He married secondly, 25 Aug 1864, Granville, NY, Emily L. Eggleston, daughter of John and Electa (Kimball) Eggleston.[3] She was born about 17 Sep 1831, Mendon, VT, and died 13 Sep 1899, Fitzwilliam, NH, aged 67 years 11 months 27 days, of consumption. She was buried Rutland, VT.
