Allen Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 31 Dec 1811, Jefferson Co., NY, and died 18 Nov 1872, Flint, MI.

He married, before 1839, Olive Hathaway Beals, daughter of Lusitanus and Rebecca A. (Hathaway) Beals. She was born about 14 Jan 1812, St. Albans, VT, and died 10 Apr 1901 Baldwin, MI.
