Lieut. Daniel6 Whitney (Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Daniel5 and Dorothy (Goss) Whitney, was born 11 Dec 1749, Stow, MA, and died 28 Sep 1805, Stow, MA.
He "of Stow" married 10 Dec 1778, Bedford, MA, Sarah "Duron",[1] of Bedford, daughter of Abraham and Rachel (Manning) Durant. She was born 4 Nov 1757, Billerica, MA, and died 29 Mar 1836, Stow, MA, aged 78 years.
His will was probated in 1806 and all his children were then living. He resided Stow, MA.
