George Lyman9 Whitney (Lyman8, James7, John6, James5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, [[Family:Whitney, John (1592-1673)|John1]), son of Lyman8 and Mary (Leland) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1848, Sherborn, MA.[1]
He married, 24 Nov 1872, Sherborn, MA, Martha A. Fleming. She was born 25 Feb 1849.
He is a farmer and also conducts a large livery stable; resided South Framiningham, MA.
Children of George L.9 and Martha A. (Fleming) Whitney:
i. Dudley B.10 Whitney, b. 10 Apr 1874; resided at home. ii. Bertha E. Whitney, b. 28 Sep 1881.
