Christopher Atwood6 Whitney (Jacob5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jacob5 and Hannah (Mills) Whitney, was born 3 Apr 1793, Phillips, ME,[1] and died 23 Aug 1869, Tomah, WI.

He married, 1 Jun 1823, Phillips, ME, Adeline Howard.[2] She was born 13 Dec 1803, Phillips, ME,[3] and died 1883, near Black River Falls, WI.

He was in the war of 1812; resided Phillips until 1866, then moved to Greenfield. He resided Phillips, ME, and Greenfield, WI.
