Samuel Austin⁷ Whitney (Hananiah⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Hananiah⁶ and Azubah (Keyes) Whitney, was born 10 Nov 1809, Winchendon, MA,^[1] and died Jun 1886, Fitzwilliam, NH.

Marriage intentions were published 28 Jan 1832, Millbury, MA, for him "of Winchendon" and Betsey Croxford.^[2] Marriage intentions were published 28 Jan 1832, Winchendon, MA, for him and Betsey Croxford "of Millbury".^[3] Apparently this marriage never took place.

Marriage intentions were published 17 Nov 1832, Winchendon, MA, for him and Sarah S. Foster "of Fitzwilliam, N.H."^[4] He married, Sarah S. Foster. She was born 11 Feb 1811, NH, and died Jan 1879 [Pierce] or Jan 1880, Orange, MA, aged 69 years of pneumonia.^[5]

He resided Fitzwilliam, NH.
