Sarah3 Whitney (John2, John1), daughter of John2 and Ruth (Reynolds) Whitney was born 17 Mar 1653[/4] at Watertown, MA[1] and died 8 Jul 1720 at Watertown, MA, at age 66[2].
Sarah married, as his first wife, 18 Oct 1681, Watertown, MA, Daniel Harrington,[3] son of Robert and Susanna (George) Harrington. born 1 Nov 1657, Watertown, MA.[4] He died on 19 Apr 1728 at Watertown, MA.[5]
He married secondly, 25 Oct 1720, Watertown, MA, Elizabeth (Bridge) Garfield, daughter of Matthew and Anna (Danforth) Bridge, and widow of Capt. Benjamin Garfield.[6]
He served as a soldier in King Philip's War, from Sudbury, MA, under Capt. Davenport, from 25 Nov to 3 Dec 1675.[7]
He was admitted freeman on 18 Apr 1690 at Watertown, MA.[8]
