Martha³ Whitney (Joshua², John¹), daughter of Joshua² and Abigail (Tarbell) Whitney,^[1] was born about 1686, Groton, MA,^[2] and died 2 Apr 1763, Newton, MA, aged 77 years.^[3]

She married 1 or 11 Feb 1708/9, Newton, MA, Isaac Williams,^[4] son of Isaac and Elizabeth (Hyde) Williams.^[5] He was born 1 Nov 1686, Newton, MA,^[6] and died 17 Sep 1757, Newton, MA, aged 72 years.^[7]

On 17 Apr 1713, she was mentioned in her father's will.^[8]

On 15 Oct 1751, she was mentioned in her brother Joshua's will.^[9]

His will mentions wife Martha; sons Jonathan and Isaac; daughters Elizabeth Reed, Abigail Fuller, Mary Miller, and Hannah Rogers; grandchildren Ephraim, Nathaniel, and Martha Spring,^[10]
