Elijah5 Whitney (John4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of John4 and Elizabeth (Adams) Whitney, was born 10 Sep 1750, Lebanon, CT,[1] and died 26 May 1821, Canaan, CT, aged 70 years[2]; buried, Canaan, CT.[3]
He married, 24 Sep 1772, Canaan, CT, Chloe Beckley[4], daughter of Joseph and Pedey (Hancox) Beckley. She was born 25 Mar 1755, Canaan, CT, and died 22 Jan 1827, Canaan, CT, aged 72 years[5][6].
