George Henry9 Whitney (Samuel8, Joseph7, Daniel6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Samuel8 and Mary Jane (Carpenter) Whitney, was born 30 May 1852, Fitzwilliam, NH, and died 1 Apr 1886, Boston, MA.
He married, 6 Oct 1885, Lizzie Brown. She died 4 Apr 1886.
He was born in Fitzwilliam, NH; was an engineer, and at the time of his death was in the employ of Doliber, Goodale & County, at 41 Central Wharf, Boston, MA, manufacturers of Mellen's food for infants and invalids. He was strictly temperate, never used liquor or tobacco in any form, was industrious and a staunch republican. He resided Boston, MA, 1098 Washington St., Madison Hotel.
