Joshua Stanton (Elizabeth4, David3, Joshua2, John1), son of Elijah and Elizabeth4 (Whitney) Stanton; born 3 Apr 1740, Preston, CT; died 27 Jan 1811, Salisbury, CT.
He married, -- Dec 1765, Sheffield, MA, Abigail Sackett, daughter of Benjamin and Thankful (King) Sackett. She was born 17 Sep 1741, Sheffield, MA, and died -- Mar 1831.
Children of Joshua and Abigail (Sackett) Stanton:
i. Elizabeth Stanton, b. 6 Aug 1766, Salisbury, CT; m. 2 Feb 1786, Luke Camp. ii. Joshua Stanton, b. 19 Feb 1770, Salisbury, CT; d. 28 Oct 1806. iii. Abigail Stanton, b. 19 Feb 1770, Salisbury, CT; d. 1805; m. ca. 1792, Chauncey Lee. iv. Sally Stanton, b. 17 Feb 1778, Salisbury, CT; no further record.
