Lieut. Daniel6 Whitney (Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Daniel5 and Dorothy (Goss) Whitney, was born 11 Dec 1749, Stow, MA,[1] and died 28 Sep 1805, Stow, MA, aged 56 years.[2]
He "of Stow" married, 10 Dec 1778, Stow, MA, Sarah Duren or Sarah Duron, "of Bedford",[3] daughter of Abraham and Rachel (Manning) Durant. She was born 4 Nov 1757, Billerica, MA, and died 29 Mar 1836, Stow, MA, aged 78 years.[4] She married secondly, 10 Dec 1816, Boxborough, MA, Phinehas Wetherbee,[5] q.v., as his second wife.
