Israel6 Whitney (Richard5, Israel4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Richard5 and Hannah (Holt) Whitney, was born 4 Jul 1774, Wilton, NH,[1] and died 14 Dec 1850.

He married, 27 Nov 1794, Wilton, NH, Elizabeth Holt.[2] She was born about 1775, MA or NH or VT, and died after 1870.

Children of Israel6 and Elizabeth (Holt) Whitney, probably incomplete:

i. Betsey7 Whitney, b. ca. 1796, VT; d. aft. 1860.
ii. (son) Whitney, b. say 1798, VT.
iii. (daughter) Whitney, b. 1800-1810.
