Frederic7 Whitney (Eleazer6, Alexander5, Eleazer4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Eleazer6 and Alice (Peabody) Whitney, was born 5 Oct 1806, Henniker, NH,[1] and died 20 May 1878, Henniker, NH.

He married firstly, 12 or 22 Jan 1835, Henniker, NH, Fidelia Woods.[2] She was born 11 Dec 1811, and died 2 Jun 1857.

He married secondly, 12 May 1864, Warner, NH, Mrs. Hannah (Badger) Carter,[3] daughter of Elliot Colby and Judith (Sawyer) Badger. She was born about 1818, Warner, NH, and died after 1870. She had married firstly, 8 Jan 1840, William Carter of Warner, NH, who was born 11 Feb 1816, Warner, NH, and died 8 May 1851.

Frederic Whitney was a carpenter by trade. He was a great lover of music and occupied a seat in the choir nearly all his days after reaching his majority, when not absent from the town, and a good portion of the time as leader. He was one of the delegates to the Constitutional convention in 1850; chairman of the selectman in 1849. A warm-hearted, genial man. He died very suddenly. He resided Henniker, NH.
