George Henry9 Whitney (Samuel8, Joseph7, Daniel6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), born Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, 30 May 1852; married 6 Oct 1885, Lizzie Brown; died 4 Apr 1886.

He was born in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire; was an engineer, and at the time of his death was in the employ of Doliber, Goodale & County, at 41 Central Wharf, Boston, Massachusetts, manufacturers of Mellen's food for infants and invalids. He was strictly temperate, never used liquor or tobacco in any form, was industrious and a staunch republican. He died 1 Apr 1886; resided Boston, Massachusetts, 1098 Washington St., Madison Hotel.
