William Lebbeus7 Whitney (Lebbeus6, James Rex5, Caleb4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Lebbeus6 and Elizabeth (Ford) Whitney, was born 16 Jan 1823, Philadelphia, PA.

He married firstly, 19 Dec 1850, Ann Templin Potts. She was born 21 Apr 1827, and died 19 Sep 1854.

He married secondly, 2 Oct 1862, Emma St. Clair Nichols. She was born 26 Sep 1840.
