He married Bessie Phyllis Clark, daughter of Frank and Bessie (Caldwell) Clark. She was born 22 Jul 1914, Gulnare, Las Animas Co., CO.

i.	Douglas Warren Whitney, b. 11 Jul 1938, Durango, LaPlata Co., CO; m. Donna Rae Hutchison.
