Stephen7 Whitney (Samuel6, Abner5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Samuel6 and Hannah (Thompson) Whitney, was born 4 May 1784, Falmouth, ME, and died 7 Dec 1858, Salem, ME, where he was buried in Mount Abram Cemetery.

He married, 13 Mar 1813, Readfield, ME, Sarah Craig. She was born 29 Jan 1792, and died 30 Jun 1868, probably Salem, ME, where she was buried in Mount Abram Cemetery.

Children of Stephen7 and Sarah (Craig) Whitney:

i. James Craig8 Whitney, b. 3 Aug 1815, Readfield, ME; d. 3 Jul 1829, Salem, ME.
ii. Samuel H. Whitney, b. 11 Sep 1818, Readfield, ME; d. 22 Feb 1888, Salem, ME; m. (int. 20 Sep 1855, Freeman, ME) Allura H. Presson.[1]
