p. 76, #860: David6 WHITNEY married, 25 Nov 1791, Westminster, MA, Elizabeth BARNES (not BARROW) of Princeton, according to Westminster vital records, or Elizabeth BARNS, according to Princeton vital records. Her surname was originally BARRON, which name often mutated into BARN(E)S, and she was daughter of Oliver and Mary (-----) BARRON, according to #90 Heyward's History of Westminster, 1728-1893, p. 923.

p. 76, #318: Sarah LAWRENCE was born 24 (not 21) July 1737, Waltham, MA, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 76, #864: Alice SMITH wss born 17 (not 7) May 1799, and died 20 Oct 1800, Waltham, MA, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 76, #864: The second Alice SMITH was born 28 May (not Jan) 1801, and died 20 Oct 1800, Waltham, MA, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 76, #864: The Darius SMITH wss born 31 Jul (not 3 Aug) 1804, Waltham, MA, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 76, #864: The Josiah SMITH wss born 17 (not 7) Nov 1808, Waltham, MA, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 76, #319: Sarah WHITTEMORE was born 22 Nov 1730, Concord, MA, daughter of Benjamin and Ruhamah (LOCKE) WHITTEMORE, according to Concord vital records.

p. 76, #875: Lydia6 WHITNEY seems to be a conflation of two daughters: Lydia6 WHITNEY was born 15 Sep 1745 and baptized 18 Oct 1747, Watertown, MA, and Sarah6 WHITNEY was born 1 Sep 1749 and baptized 10 Sep 1749, Watertown, MA, both according to Watertown vital records. Sarah must have died before the birth of Sally6 WHITNEY, #879. Lydia6 may be the Lydia WHITNEY who married, 16 Apr 1766, Worcester, MA, Josiah BOYDEN. Apparently there was an additional daughter, Grace6 WHITNEY, baptized 28 Nov 1757, Watertown, MA, also according to Watertown vital records.
