Family:Whitney, James (1755-1800)

James⁶ Whitney (Benjamin⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), born Oct. 1755; married Susannah Hill, born in 1751; died 25 Sep 1881. He was in Capt. Brooks' company from Sherborn, in the Revolutionary war. He died in Dover, Massachusetts, in June, 1800; resided Sherborn, Massachusetts.

Children of James⁶ Whitney:

i.	Isaac7 Whitney, born in 1782; married Mary Moore and Sarah Trhayer.
ii.	Benjamin Whitney, born in T., 1785; married Hepsibeth Moore.
iii.	Martin Whitney, born 17 Jun 1787; married Nancy Orne, Moriah, New York.
iv.	Sylvia Whitney, born 2 Dec 1795; died young; resided Attleboro.
v.	Patty Whitney, born 5 Mar 1792; died young.
vi.	Susan Whitney, born in 1790; died young.
