John⁷ Whitney (John⁶, Zachariah⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), born Lunenburg, Massachusetts, 2 Jul 1788; married in Rindge, New Hampshire, 8 Dec 1812, Sophia Faulkner; born Feb. 28, 1794; died 16 Apr 1858; married 2d, 12 Apr 1860, Mrs. Fanny Howe Blodgett. He was a farmer. He died 15 Oct 1873; resided Lunenburg, Massachusetts and Rindge, New Hampshire.

Children of John⁷ Whitney:

i.	Sophia8 Whitney, born 30 Dec 1813; married 21 Mar 1832, Brooks Wheeler, of Lincoln, Mass. She died 23 Oct 1841.
ii.	Zachariah F. Whitney, born 15 Apr 1816; married Hepsibeth Smith.
iii.	Eunice Whitney, born 6 May 1818; married 14 Sep 1841, George E. Smith, of Rindge.
iv.	John O. Whitney, born 12 Jun 1821; married Abbie L. Lyon.
v.	Ann Whitney, born 21 Aug 1823; married 1840, Edmund Wheeler; resided Quincy, Illinois. She died 5 Apr 1844.
vi.	Sarah Whitney, died aged three years.
vii.	Sarah P. Whitney, born 16 Apr 1827; married William L. Whitney, son of Lovell (see): resided W. Rindge.
viii.	Charles A. Whitney, born 16 Feb 1830; married Lydia M. Lyon.
ix.	Susan E. Whitney, born Sept. 7 1833; married 29 Apr 1856, Albert S. Marshall, born 31 May 1828; resided Rindge, New Hampshire, and Lunenburg, Massachusetts. Ch: Minnie A., born 25 Oct 1857; Albert A., born 6 Aug 1860; Charles E., born 8 Apr 1833; Fred W., born 24 May 1865; Susan A., born Apr. 2, 1867; Annetta S., born 11 Sep 1871.
x.	George A. Whitney, born 1837; married Mattie A. Colburn and Susie R. Converse.
