Richard⁷ Whitney (Daniel⁶, Daniel⁵, Richard⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), born in Stow, 18 Apr 1798; married Eunice Cogswell, born 2 Feb 1803; died Winchendon, July 20, 1890. He died 2 Dec 1849, in surrey, New Hampshire; resided Winchendon, Massachusetts.

ii.	Mary A. Whitney, born Oct., 1825; resided with Franklin O., in Boston.
iii.	Sarah Jane born July Whitney, 1827; married 1 Mar 1846, Baxter D. Whitney (see).
iv.	Elizabeth Parks Whitney, born Nov., 1829; died 2 Sep 1847.
v.	Daniel E. Whitney, born Mar., 1832; married May, 1857, Clarinda Ballou; died Oct. 1870. He died 3 Oct 1870; resided Minnesota.
vi.	Franklin O. Whitney, born June, 1835; resided Boston, 1 Ashburton Pl.
vii.	Eunice M. Whitney, born Oct., 1837; married Dec., 1857, John G. Folsom; resided Winchendon, Massachusetts.
viii.	Laura M. Whitney, born Mar., 1840; died 16 Feb 1842.
ix.	Joseph S. Whitney, born Apr., 1843; died 29 Sep 1887.
x.	Richard M. Whitney, born July, 1844; died 8 Nov 1892, in Tamatave, Madigascar.
