vii. Edmund C. Whitney, b. 15 Jun 1831, Morrill, ME; m. 1 Jun 1862, Morrill, ME, Eliza Spear. He is found in the censuses of 1850 through 1880 residing in Morrill, ME, where he was first a farmer and then a brick mason. His mother Margaret lived with them in the censuses of 1870 and 1880. They are not found after the 1880 census in Maine. If they removed to Big Timber, MT, as related by F.C. Pierce, it was after 1880, and Edmond does not appear in the 1900 census there. However, there is an Elizabeth Whitney, b. Mar 1842, ME, living alone in Big Timber, MT in the 1900 census. One could propose that this is Eliza, wife of Edmund. No children are shown in any census.
viii. Emily A. Whitney, b. ca. 1833 or 1828; m. 16 Oct 1861, Morrill, ME, Ephraim Redman of Brooklin, ME; resided Portland, ME. In 1850, Emily resided in the home of Charles and Mary Burt in Belmont, ME.
