Sewell7 Whitney (Jonathan6, (prob.) Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan6, Jr., and Deborah (Higgins) Whitney, was born 10 Jul 1806, Lisbon, ME,[1] and died 7 Jul 1857, ME. Both he and his wife are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Corinth, ME.
He married Lucinda "Lucy" Craig, daughter of Samuel and Esther (-----) Craig. She was born 16 Nov 1802, Kenduskeag, ME, and died 7 Jul 1890. She married secondly, 14 Oct 1860, Corinth, ME, Joseph Johnson, "both of Corinth".[2]

Whitney, b. 22 Apr 1838, Kenduskeag, ME; d. 22 Mar 1921; m. Ellis Cushman. viii. Arietta Elizabeth Whitney, b. 1839, Kenduskeag, ME; m. 9 Jul 1856, Penobscot Co., ME, Andrew Jackson Quimby. ix. Franklin L. Whitney, b. ca. 1843, Kenduskeag, ME. x. Lucinda Aretta Whitney, b. ca. 1845, Kenduskeag, ME; m. Frank Clark. xi. William Washington Whitney, b. ca. 1849, Kenduskeag, ME.
