Daniel Whitney, parentage unknown, was born 5 Apr 1796, Oneida Co., NY, and died 15 Sep 1872, Brownville, Jefferson Co., NY.

He married, 4 Jul 1819, Arvilla Marsh, parentage unknown. She was born 27 Nov 1802, Oneida Co., NY, and died 14 Sep 1876, Brownville, Jefferson Co., NY.

Daniel was supposedly born in Deerfield and Arvilla in Floyd, both from old family records. Their parents are not yet known.
