Daniel Whitney, parentage unknown, was born 5 Apr 1796, Oneida Co., NY, died 15 Sep 1872, Brownville, Jefferson Co., NY, buried in Dexter Cemetery.

He married, 4 Jul 1819, Arvilla Marsh, parentage unknown. She was born 27 Nov 1802, Oneida Co., NY, died 14 Sep 1876, Brownville, Jefferson Co., NY, buried in Dexter Cemetery.

Daniel was supposedly born in Deerfield and Arvilla in Floyd, both from old family records. Their parents are not yet known.
