Family:Whitney, Daniel (1749-1805)

Lieut. Daniel⁶ Whitney (Daniel⁵, Richard⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Daniel⁵ and Dorothy (Goss) Whitney; born 11 Dec 1749, in Stow; married 10 Dec 1778, Sarah Durant, of Bedford. His will was probated in 1806 and all his children were then living. He died 28 Sep 1805; resided Stow, Massachusetts.

i.	Asa7 Whitney, born 22 Jun 1779; married Sally Brooks.
ii.	Thomas Whitney, born 22 Sep 1781; died 4 Nov 1803.
iii.	Anna Whitney, born 22 Apr 1783; married 14 Jan 1802, Samuel Foster, of Billerica. Ch., Dudley, born -----
iv.	Daniel Whitney, born 19 Apr 1785; married Sarah Marble.
v.	Sally Whitney, born 13 Jun 1787; died 6 Nov 1803.
vi.	John Whitney, born 28 May 1789; married Harriett Tower.
vii.	Artemas Whitney, born 22 Apr 1791.
viii.	Joseph Whitney, born 30 Jun 1793; married Susan7 Whitney.
ix.	Manning Whitney, born 8 Sep 1795; married -------- Brooks.
x.	Richard Whitney, born 18 Apr 1798; married Eunice Cogswell.
xi.	Lucy Whitney, born 26 Aug 1801; married ------ Brooks. Ch.: William born ------; resided Franconia, New Hampshire.
