Dr. Aaron Augustus8 Whitney (Richard H.7, Cyrus6, Isaiah5, Isaiah4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Richard H.7 and Nancy Flagg (Whitney) Whitney; born Adrian, Michigan, 7 Feb 1850; married 25 Apr 1872, Clintina S. Curtis, of Wilton, New Hampshire, born 28 Dec 1854.
Aaron Augustus Whitney, born 7 Feb 1850, at Adrian, Michigan, and married Clintina S. Curtis, of Wilton, New Hampshire, in 1872; they have now children. A. A. Whitney entered the medical college of Bellevue hospital, New York, in 1868, and graduated from that institution, and has been a practicing physician since that time, meeting with a fair success, first at his old home at Adrian, Michigan, then at Port Huron, Michigan. He has stood well in the communities where he has lived, but has never made much of a success in a business way. He is an earnest Christian worker, being a member of the First Baptist church of Port Huron, and always ready to do the work when duty calls. Has been interested in fraternal societies and joined the Knights of Pythias, Odd Fellows, Knights of Honor, Knights of the Maccabees, and half a dozen other orders. Has held important official positions in these orders, and is at present grand trustee of the grand Lodge of Knights of Honor for Michigan; resided Port Huron, Michigan, and Saint Louis, Missouri, 3000 Locust St., s. p.
