Palmer6 Whitney (Joseph5, Timothy4, John3, John2, John1), born 12 Jul 1779, Warwick, Massachusetts;[1] married in Warwick, Massachusetts, int. Apr. 14; married 10 May 1798, Judath Barber, born Sept 10, 1777; died 2 Nov 1852.
Palmer Whitney was born in Warwick, Massachusetts, where he resided until a short time after his marriage, when he moved to Java Village, New York and kept a public house for a number of years. He finally moved to Illinois, and was ever afterwards a farmer. He died in Riley, 26 Jun 1854; resided Orange, Massachusetts, Java, New York, Riley, Illinois.

He was a farmer and general speculator, resided Yorkshire, New York - Ch.: Minerva, born 1 Jul 1824; married David C. Woolley, Aug. 1842, and died 7 May 1892; Celia, born Nov 20, 1826; died 18 Jan 1827; Harry E., born 4 Feb 1828; married to Elvira Blood, 12 Sep 1850; resided Delevan, Catt. County, New York; Charles, born 27 Aug 1831, died 29 Jan 1843; Anna Marier, born Oct. 15, 1836; married to Brayton B.
