He married Mary -----. She was born about 1787, Cleobury, Shropshire, England.

Children of William and Mary (-----) Whitney:

i. Mary Whitney, b. ca. 1830, Cleobury, Shropshire, England. She married Mr. Hill. Ch: James Hill, b. ca. 1850, Hopton Wafers, Shropshire, England.
