Edward8 Whitney (George Washington7, Ezekiel6, Ezekiel5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of George Washington7 and Elizabeth (Cook) Whitney, was born 27 Feb 1850, Brighton, MA [give name omitted],[1] and died 22 Jul 1879, Cambridge, MA, aged 29 years, of typhoid fever.[2]

He married, 11 Dec 1870, Cambridge, MA, Elizabeth Healey, daughter of John and Ellen (-----) Healey.[3] She was born about 1850, Boston, MA.
