George Lyman9 Whitney (Lyman8, James7, John6, James5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, [[Family:Whitney, John (1592-1673)|John1]), son of Lyman8 and Mary (Leland) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1848, Sherborn, MA,[1] and died after 1880.

He married, 24 Nov 1872, Sherborn, MA, Martha A. Fleming. She was born 25 Feb 1849, and died after 1880.

He is a farmer and also conducts a large livery stable; resided South Framiningham, MA.

Children of George L.9 and Martha A. (Fleming) Whitney:

i. Dudley B.10 Whitney, b. 10 Apr 1874; "Dudley Pierce" m. 17 Jun 1896, Natick, MA, Amy Joseph Bullard, b. ca. 1888, Natick, MA, dau. of William G. and Harriet G. (Foskett) Bullard.[2]
ii. Bertha E. Whitney, b. 28 Sep 1881.
