He married 21 Jan 1799, Somerset Co., MD, Rachel Evans.[3]

- 1800, Monie Hundred, Somerset Co., MD: David Whitney, 1 male over 45, 1 male 26-45, 1 male 10-16, 1 female 26-45, 1 slave.

1. ^ He must have been either the male age 26-45 or the male 26-45 on the 1800 census, so that places his birth at sometime before 1774.
2. ^ He was enumerated on the 1800 census, so he must have died sometime after that.
