Daniel⁷ Whitney (Elijah⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Elijah⁶ and Mindwell (Hardy) Whitney, was born 21 Feb 1807, Westborough, MA, and died 27 Apr 1881, Grafton, MA.

He married firstly, 2 May 1833, Westborough, MA, Nancy B. Newton. She was born in Northborough, MA, and died 26 Apr or 15 Jul 1844, Westborough, MA, aged 28 years.

Marriage intentions were published 5 Apr 1845, Westborough, MA, for him and his second wife Sarah S. Fiske "of Shelburne".
