Eliza Adams Northrop, b. at 66 South Pearl Street, Albany, N.Y., 3 Sept. 1834; married at Watertown, Wis., 17 Dec. 1856, George Huntley Gordon Copland, a land-surveyor, son of Alexander and Anna (Anderson Copland, of Huntington, Canada East, after Oct. 1834, and formerly of Aberdeen, Scotland, where he was born 18 Oct. 1831. They dwelt chiefly at Milwaukee, Wis., till Dec. 1873; and then moved to Grayson, Cal., where they were living in July 1875.

Mary Treat Northrop, b. at 66 South Pearl Street, Albany, N.Y., 7 Jan. 1836; married at Whitewater, Wis., 1 Jan. 1859, Edward Woodbridge Tuttle, a brickmaker, son of Lyman1 and Martha (Tuttle) Tuttle, of Hartford, Conn., where he was born 16 June 1830. They moved, in Sept. 1859, to Middletown, Conn.; in 1862, to Hartford, Conn.; 24 Aug. 1863, to Farmington, Wis.; 20 Aug. 1864, to Middletown again; 16 Jan. 1865, to Erie, Ill.; 1 March 1867, to Middletown once more; 1 March 1868, to North Haven, Conn.; 8 Nov. 1872, to Thomaston, Conn.; and 16 Dec. 1873, returned to Erie, Ill., where they were living in June 1875.

III. Henry Whitney Northrop, b. at Schenectady, N.Y., 3 Oct. 1838; married in 1862, at Chicago, Ill., Sarah O'Connell. They were living at Grayson, Cal., in May 1875, without children. He enlisted at Chicago, in 1861; and was discharged in 1865.

V. William Milton Northrop, b. in Beaver Street, Albany, N.Y., 17 May 1842; died at Vincennes, Ind., 5 Sept. 1866, and was buried in Vincennes Cemetery. He enlisted, 4 Sept. 1864, in Co. E, 1st Reg., Wis. Heavy Artillery; and was discharged 26 June 1865.
